She teaches the basics but also incorporates more difficult poses to give the viewer a broad look at what can be achieved with practice, even if you cannot get into headstand, crow pose, or splits on the first try. Her demeanor embodies the spirit of yoga – compassionate, calming, and always without expectation or judgement regarding the viewer’s ability level. There is something for everyone here – the viewer must simply acknowledge that yoga is not about looking perfect in a pose. It is not about moving at someone else’s speed. It is about doing what you can and finding the challenge that is comfortable for you. I just completed day 23 and am looking forward to the rest of the series! I have tried yoga in the past, but this is truly the first time it has become an integral part of my day for my physical and mental wellbeing.”
